Muffel's journey began in that dark, cold corner of the living room, to which he had been banished in such an unwelcome way. The next morning, the cleaning lady found him, mistaking him for an old, forgotten toy, and left him by the side of the road under a streetlight. It wasn't long before a curious street artist stumbled upon him, captivated by the bear's worn but dignified appearance. Over time, he overheard a great deal and was moved by tales of heartbreak and joy, of old and young travelers, torn between nostalgia and a desire for adventure. He could never have dreamed back then in Chemnitz how many cultures and stories the world held.
